🍜 Easy Homemade Ramen Recipe


Ingredients

200g ramen noodles (or wheat noodles)
3 cups chicken or vegetable stock
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1 boiled egg (soft-boiled works best)
1 spring onion, sliced
A few slices of mushrooms
A handful of spinach or carrots (optional)

Method

Prepare the broth 🥣
In a pot, bring the stock to a simmer. Add soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Let it cook gently for about 10 minutes so the flavours blend well
Cook the noodles 🍜
In another pot, boil the noodles according to the instructions on the packet (usually 3–4 minutes). Drain and set aside
Prepare toppings 🥗
Slice the spring onion, mushrooms, and any vegetables you like. Boil the egg for 6–7 minutes for a soft centre, peel, and cut in half
Assemble the ramen 🍲
Place the noodles in a large bowl, pour the hot broth over them, and arrange the egg, vegetables, and spring onion on top
Serve and enjoy
Your homemade ramen is ready — warming, delicious, and perfect for a cosy meal
